There are a lot of sources out there on the Internet, and it’s hard to know which ones to trust. We have included some resources here that are accurate and reliable and give you the information in a way that you can understand it. As always, if you’d like to discuss something further, call us at Crossroads Animal Hospital, and our knowledgeable staff can answer any questions you may have.
We also have downloadable information handouts if you’re curious about a specific disease or condition.

Most people don’t know that heartworms are transmitted by mosquitos! Which means EVERY pet is at risk for heartworm disease, even indoor pets (mosquitos can and will fly indoors – and it only takes ONE bite).
If your pet is implanted with a microchip at our clinic, it will be a Home Again microchip. There are many microchip companies, but all microchips can be read with the same scanner, and all information can be accessed just as easily no matter which company is used. To register your pet, change your contact information, or for more information, click the logo to the left.
Thank you for choosing Crossroads Animal Hospital!
Our team works hard to ensure that your pet received the absolute best care during every single visit to see us.
