Max and Mochi’s Mission
When we got sick, we were lucky. Our people didn’t have to think about money – they just took care of us and made sure we had the best vets you could find anywhere. We know that’s not always true for everybody, though, and sometimes the cost of helping means that someone loses a member of their family because of money. Our mission is to make sure that never happens here, at home, where we can do something about it.
The Way it Works
Max and Mochi’s people are partnering with Crossroads Animal Hospital and American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) to make donations possible. The AVMF is a non-profit, national organization that makes it possible for local vets to manage charitable giving. AVMF takes a small percentage of every donation and uses it for veterinary scholarships, outreach, and veterans’ programs – everything else comes directly to Crossroads and gets used to help animals in need. Money should never be a deciding factor in determining whether or not a family gets to stay together.
